Legal

Privacy policy

Effective 30 August 2026. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website and our agency work, why, and the rights you have over it.

Who we are

Model Talent UK Ltd (company number 13903233), trading as Model Talent UK (“we”, “us”), is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact us about anything in this policy at contact@modeltalent.co.uk or by post to our London office: 123 Buckingham Palace Road, London SW1W 9SH.

What we collect, and why

Model applications

When you apply to join the agency we collect the information the application form asks for: your name and contact details, date of birth, location, measurements, experience, social links and the photographs you upload. We use it to assess your application and, if we represent you, to manage that representation. The legal bases are the steps needed before entering a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running a modelling agency. Application photographs are private by default and are never published without your explicit consent. For applicants under 18 we require a parent or guardian’s details and consent, and we treat that data with additional care.

Published model profiles

A model’s public profile (name, photographs, measurements and categories) appears on this website only after the model, or their guardian, has agreed to publication. Consent can be withdrawn at any time by contacting us; we then remove the profile and its images from the website and from the caches we control.

Client enquiries and bookings

When you contact us or send a booking request we collect your name, business details, contact information and the content of your brief, and we use them to respond and to manage any resulting booking. The legal bases are contract and legitimate interest. We keep booking records for as long as commercial and tax rules require.

This website

Our own systems record the technical data needed to run the site securely (such as IP addresses in server logs, kept briefly) and first-party, aggregate usage events that contain no form contents. See the cookie policy for what is, and is not, set in your browser.

Who we share data with

Model profiles are shared with clients as part of proposing and confirming bookings. We use established service providers to run our systems (hosting, file storage, email); they process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data. Where a lead reaches us through a third-party marketplace such as Bark, we receive the details you gave that service in order to respond to your request.

How long we keep data

Applications that do not proceed are removed on a rolling schedule. Unfinished draft applications and their uploads are deleted after a documented retention period. Records of bookings and invoices are kept for the periods UK company and tax law requires.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, or a portable copy, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to contact@modeltalent.co.uk; we respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

We update this policy when our practices change, and the effective date above changes with it.
